Going through Nahtaia...editing...and laughing.
Just a little background info:
Dweegen is an earthmover. They're shorter than faeries, generally very stocky and muscular like dwarves, with wirey hairs all over them...and they live underground. Nahtaia is a moon faery who's lost her wings and magic for shrinking a human.
Kale is the human who Nahtaia shrunk. Oren is a pine faery who still has his wings and is helping Nahtaia find one of the Voices of Jaydür to get her wings and magic back.

“What do you need?” Oren asked the earthmover, following his gaze. The little man was looking at Nahtaia.
Dweegen wrung his short, chubby, hairy hands. With a clearing of his throat, a blush

claimed his cheeks as he said, “a kiss, from the faire faery.”
“What?” Nahtaia snapped.
“Oh boy,” Oren mumbled.
Nahtaia's blood ran hot and her hands tingled. Kale exchanged glances between her and the earthmover, surprised at such a request from a stranger, but Oren knew better--she needed to be held back, not studied.
In the blink of an eye, Nahtaia was in mid-air, leaping toward the earthmover, armed with teeth and fingernails. Dweegen let out a feminine shriek and recoiled just before Oren snatched Nahtaia from the air, holding her fast.
“How dare you!” She snapped. “After all I've been through!”
“Why a kiss?” Kale asked, though he didn’t blame the mole. Nahtaia was beautiful, after all.
Dweegen swallowed hard and nervously glanced between Nahtaia and Kale. “Everyone knows a faery kiss will bring you good fortune.”
Oren laughed and replied, “I think it’d have to be a kiss from a good-tempered faery. A kiss from Nahtaia may be the death of you.”
